Our AP Precalculus Preview course is taught just the way an AP or college-level course would be taught. This gives students a valuable headstart on their AP Courses, as well as extra time to adjust to college-level workloads.
Our AP Precalculus Preview covers the following topics:
- Unit 1: Polynomial and Rational Functions Understanding polynomial and rational functions through the lens of modeling and rates of change.
- Unit 2: Exponential and Logarithmic Functions Exploring the relationship between exponential and logarithmic functions.
- Unit 3: Trigonometric and Polar Functions Exploring periodic phenomena using transformations of trigonometric functions.
- Unit 4: Functions Involving Parameters, Vectors, and Matrices Expanding the understanding of the function concept by exploring a variety of new function types.
Being able to cover these concepts gives students extra time and early exposure to particularly difficult AP-level concepts. You can bet that this will give Excel students an edge when it comes to AP Exams!

Our AP Preview Courses are only available during the summer. We recommend you take these Preview courses the summer before your actual AP Course.
