Our AP French Preview course is taught just the way an AP or college-level course would be taught. This gives students a valuable headstart on their AP Courses, as well as extra time to adjust to college-level workloads.
Our AP French Preview covers the following topics:
Unit 1: Families in Different Societies French language skills in the context of studying family life and values in French-speaking societies and contemporary beliefs and challenges that families face.
Unit 2: The Influence of Language and Culture on Identity How language and culture shape and reflect evolving ideas about identity in French-speaking societies.
Unit 3: Influences of Beauty and Art How ideas of beauty and art influence and reflect culture in French-speaking communities.
Unit 4: How Science and Technology Affect Our Lives How developments in science and technology affect daily life in French-speaking communities. Using your expanding language skills to interpret unfamiliar words and engage in more complicated texts.
Unit 5: Factors That Impact the Quality of Life Contemporary life in French-speaking communities and how social status, cultural perspectives, and access to jobs and resources can make an impact on the quality of life.
Unit 6: Environmental, Political, and Societal Challenges How complex global issues affect people’s lives in French-speaking communities; engaging in deeper discussions to suggest possible solutions.
Being able to cover these concepts gives students extra time and early exposure to particularly difficult AP-level concepts. You can bet that this will give Excel students an edge when it comes to AP Exams!

Our AP Preview Courses are only available during the summer. We recommend you take these Preview courses the summer before your actual AP Course.
